We encourage you to consult with your personal tax account or financial advisor to determine the best way to structure your investment.
When you buy trees from Las Azucenas you are in the business of cultivating tropical hardwoods. Your capital investment to start your business is the cost of your trees and any land you may purchase or lease. The care and maintenance of your trees is covered in the initial purchase. You may be able to write off these expenses depending on how you structure your investment.
Las Azucenas is self-insured with a private tree reserve. Las Azucenas guarantees each tree, and if your tree should die, another one will be planted in its place. The trees are the most vulnerable during their first 3 years of growth. Their odds of survival are extremely high after they have surpassed these 3 years.
The professionals who manage our forest, formerly managed the Mayan Biosphere, a UNESCO recognized biosphere with millions of trees.
We also have onsite security to protect the forest.
